dinosaur age
two days ago i was approached by a young lad, obviously shortlisted for 2nd audition. he came with a worried look. apparently he prefered to sing in malay. since the play is in english, i insisted he had to prepare an english number for the audition. tis increased his displeasure as he commended that he knows no english songs.
then, i suggested the obvious - one, i thought could not possibly go wrong. the happy birthday song!
with undisguised disgust, came his reply, "that's OLD SKOOL!!!".
for a split second, i almost felt ancient !!!
