on their own
"see you all in half and hour's time"
when we practiced act 2 scene 7, only half the scene was guided. as for the rest, i left it to them to work together. true enough, synergy brings about creativity. i was impressed with the half hour outcome. but what was more pleasing was to see them put into practice drama techniques.

after the break of dawn
saturday morning, smi came to life !!
while the band played, wushu practiced, taekwando threw flying kicks, scouts conducted gruelling tasks & numerous other activities were seen - the school play preparations joined in the hype.

we've officially launched the school play with the distribution of tickets for sale and sponsorship appeal.

here it is
for the last 4 days .....
....... we've been busy.
form 5 and form 4 boys are busy sketching the outline and details of the backdrop. i'm beginning to see the formation of a great piece of work.
wardrobe assistants are busy with the making of accessories. make up assistants are roped in to lend a hand with the mountainous amount of work.
vocalists, musicians and cast are busy perfecting their skills and talents.
we're all happily busy putting in our best effort!

2nd week of hols
where did it say, we get a week off?"we're taking a week off from all practices."

there's music in the air
for the last 2 days, ms ling worked with the musicians. we have at the moment 15 musicians but the exact team has yet to be confirmed as the final selection will be on 15 june.
for starters, musician practices will be held every friday.
